Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 June 2026

These Terms govern your use of wrokin — the wrokin GitHub App and dashboard (the "Service") provided by BytesBrains Pte Ltd ("BytesBrains", "we"), Singapore. By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

1. The Service

The Service installs AI agents that act on your GitHub repositories — reviewing pull requests, auditing for security issues, triaging issues, gathering context, and (where enabled) proposing code changes as pull requests ("Builder"). You configure which agents run and which model each uses.

2. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

You supply your own LLM provider API key. You are responsible for your provider account, your key, all token/usage costs charged by that provider, and compliance with that provider's terms. We never mark up inference. Keep your keys confidential; you may remove them at any time.

3. Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed through GitHub Marketplace under GitHub's terms; GitHub handles payment and may retain a fee. Free-tier and plan limits (e.g. monthly run quotas) apply as described on our pricing page and may change with notice. Our fee is for the Service only, not for LLM inference (which is BYOK).

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service unlawfully, to infringe others' rights, to process repositories you are not authorised to, to attempt to break tenant isolation or our security, or to abuse the autonomous features (e.g. to overwhelm the Service). We may rate-limit, suspend, or disable access (including via a kill-switch) to protect the Service or other customers.

5. AI output — no warranty; you stay in control

The Service uses AI and is provided "AS IS". AI output (reviews, findings, and especially code written by the Builder) may be incorrect, incomplete, insecure, or infringing. We make no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, security, or non-infringement.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and deciding whether to merge or act on any AI output. Nothing the Service produces is a substitute for human review. The Service is an assistant, not a replacement for your engineering judgement.

6. Builder & auto-merge

The Builder proposes changes as pull requests for your review. Any automatic-merge / automatic-release capability is off by default and opt-in; if you enable it, you do so at your own risk, you must use branch protection and required checks, and you expressly accept that changes may merge without prior human review. You remain responsible for everything merged into your repositories.

7. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your repositories and to code produced for you by the Service; as between you and us, such output is yours. We retain all rights in the Service itself. We claim no licence to your code beyond what is needed to operate the Service for you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BytesBrains will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising from the Service or any AI output. Our total aggregate liability for all claims is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case the limitations apply to the extent permitted.

9. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold BytesBrains harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, the repositories and content you direct it to process, your use of any AI output (including merged code), and your breach of these Terms.

10. Data

Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy and, for repository content we process on your behalf, the Data Processing Addendum, which form part of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and uninstall the App at any time, which revokes our access. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; we'll update the "Last updated" date and give notice of material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
